GeoExpert AG was founded in 1988. From the outset, among the various disciplines of applied geophysical prospecting, their activities have been focused mainly on seismic profiling techniques in the fields of geotechnical engineering and hydrogeology.

GeoExpert AG has initiated the method of hybrid seismic surveying, which is now widely recognized as the most powerful prospecting tool in civil engineering. Among their clients are the national railway systems of France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Morocco and Switzerland, as well as numerous spas and mineral water producing companies.
