Electro Magnetics

The electromagnetic (EM) technique is a company speciality, especially time domain EM as applied to exploration and prospect appraisal. Gregory Symons has a very strong and longstanding experience in the theory and application of these techniques. This EM capability has been augmented in 2005 by the purchase of a full suite of Geonics EM equipment, consisting of Protem receiver, EM37, EM57, and EM47 transmitters, as well as a 1D downhole EM probe. The acquisition of a 3D EM probe is scheduled for 2006. EM modelling is achieved with Geonics software, in-house filament modelling, and the recent purchase of the Maxwell EM modelling software.
